IS THERE LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS?
Don’t forget to intentionally connect with one another, share testimonies and spend some time worshipping together.
Worship
In the talk on Sunday we looked at light in the darkness. Joseph was in prison, but despite this God was orchestrating things to bring light not just in Joseph’s life but to bring light to the nations.

Light of the world by TIm Hughes
Bible
How does Joseph's journey from slavery and imprisonment to a position of authority in Egypt demonstrate God's sovereignty in the face of adversity, darkness and injustice? What can we learn from his story about trusting God's plan in our own lives?
Consider Pharaoh's dreams and their interpretation by Joseph. How do these events emphasise God's role in controlling the course of history and providing wisdom in times of need? How can we seek God's guidance in our decision-making, as Joseph did?
Reflect on the broader implications of God's sovereignty as seen in the way Joseph's leadership during the famine affected not only Egypt but also surrounding nations. How can we see God's hand in the larger scope of world events and history?
Share personal experiences or stories of witnessing God's sovereignty in action in your life or the lives of others. How has this awareness of God's sovereignty impacted your faith, outlook, and approach to life's challenges and uncertainties?
Where are you facing darkness in your life? How does the story of Joseph inspire you that there is light that is more powerful than the darkness?
Prayer
Pray for each other. Pray you may see the sovereign fingerprints of God in your life, even in the darkness!
