Song Suggestion: I Speak Jesus
Bible
Read Ephesians 4:11-16
We are called to be a disciple-making hub, in which we each take ownership of our own discipleship, where we invest in each others’ discipleship, and we are sent out to make disciples.
“Discipleship is becoming who Jesus would be if He were you” - Dallas Willard
A Hub of Ministry
What does the passage teach us about the purpose of our spiritual gifts?
How can you seek the disciple one another and build one another up this week?
A Hub of Maturity
How do we “attain to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ?”
What can you do as an individual in order that we may attain to corporate maturity?
A Hub of the Military
What do you think the enemy’s plan is for our personal and corporate discipleship? How, then, can we fight in Jesus’ name against this scheming (verse 14)?
How do you feel about being part of an army? Excited and equipped? Battered and bruised? Scared? Confident?
Prayer
Pray that you would each yield to Christ as the head of the church and the head of our individual lives. Pray that you would know your gifting, recognise the part you have to play in discipling one another, and be emboldened to speak Jesus to our city and our region.
