Activity
God tells us to love our neighbours as we love ourselves. I want you to either print out the images below or draw an outline of a person and I want you to imagine you’re talking to God and write down some of the things that God would say he loves about you and things that you’re good at. You can also ask your family too and if you want to you can share what you’ve written with your family.
Discussion
God says to ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ Talk with your family about the different ways we can love God with different parts of our body. Create a pose of a way that you love God through either of these three things (ideas if stuck – dancing, drawing, singing, playing sport).
Prayer
Dear God, thank you that you love us and that you have created us to love you. We’re sorry for the times when we have not been kind to others. Please help us love our neighbours and to love you with all our heart, soul and mind. Amen.
