How do you relate the metaphor of patching old garments with unshrunk cloth to the relationship between traditional religious practices and the teachings of Jesus?
Can you think of examples where God has been doing something new in your life and instead of accepting the new thing you have tried to patch up the old?

New Wine and New Wineskins:

What does "new wine" represent in this passage, and how does it relate to the teachings and presence of Jesus?
How can we ensure that our hearts are like "new wineskins," ready to receive the Spirit of God and His teachings?
Are you ready for God to do a new thing and pour out his Spirit into your life in new ways?

Pray for God to make us ready for whatever he wants to do with us and for the Holy Spirit to come and fill each member of the group afresh.
