Overflowing Generosity
Group Notes Overview
This sermon series includes an additional section in the group notes focused on practical application. You can work through it together during Life Group or take it home to complete during the week. To support your reflection on your personal journey of generosity, printable and online resources will be available each week.

Song Suggestion: One Thing Remains
Bible
Giving our first and best demonstrates trust in God’s provision.
What does it mean to bring the whole tithe into the storehouse? How does this challenge us today?
How does God’s promise of blessing encourage us to trust Him with our resources?
How does Jesus’ ultimate provision fulfill the principle of tithing?
What does it mean to rob God?
Practical Application
If you’re already giving regularly, consider taking a step toward tithing—giving your first 10% to the Lord.
Is there someone in your group with a testimony of tithing and how it deepened their trust in God?
Ask God to help you honour him with your finances. This free budget builder by Christian Charity Crosslight (based at HTB) is a useful tool to work out where you are spending and giving (budgetbuilder.themoneycourse.org). Maybe have a go at using it this week and report back to each other at Life Group next week about how you found it and what it revealed!
Prayer
Thank God for His provision and His faithfulness in keeping His promises.
Pray for a heart of trust and obedience in giving.
Lift up the church’s financial stewardship and mission.
