Prayers
God, we ask as David did that you would rescue us, defend us and listen to our prayers. In the midst of what seems like an attack, we pray that your ears would be turned to our plea of wanting to see an end to coronvarius. Come Lord Jesus.
God, we acknowledge that you are the only one who saves, helps and restores. The one who keeps us alive. We ask that in the darkest of days that lie ahead, we would know what it means to be fully alive in you. Come Lord Jesus.
God, we acknowledge your goodness to us and proclaim that you have already rescued us through your son Jesus christ dying for us on the cross. Give us the courage and strength to declare your saving acts for the rest of our days - so all may know who you are. Come Lord Jesus.

Merciful Lord,
Absolve your people from their offenses,
That through your bountiful goodness
We may all be delivered from the chains of those sins
Which by our frailty we have committed;
Grant this, heavenly Father,
For Jesus Christ’s sake, our blessed Lord and Saviour,
Who is alive and reigns with you,
In the unity of the Holy Spirit,
One God, now and forever.
