Prayers
Father we thank You and we praise You today as we remember and celebrate that, in Your great love and mercy, You poured out the promised Holy Spirit. May we honour You by living in unity one with another. One Body, called by Your name, to Your praise and glory.
May we be Your hands, feet, eyes and ears; each bringing hope; life; light and love to those around us. May we multiply and bless the whole earth as we live and move and have our being in the Lord Jesus Christ, standing firm in the Holy Spirit.
For Your glory Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Amen.

God, who as at this time
Taught the hearts of your faithful people
By sending to them the light of your Holy Spirit:
Grant us by the same Spirit
To have a right judgement in all things
And evermore to rejoice in his holy comfort;
Through the merits of Christ Jesus our Saviour,
Who is alive and reigns with you,
In the unity of the Holy Spirit,
One God, now and for ever.
