Gideon obeyed God, but he did it at night because he was terrified. Courage isn't the absence of fear... it’s being obedient right through the middle of it. What fear do you need to hand over to Jesus today?What sustains you? (vv. 35-40)
God didn't reject Gideon for doubting or asking for signs; He met him with patient, sustaining grace. When you are running on empty, what are you relying on to keep you going?
