Jesus Calmed the Storm. Page 334. Matthew 8.

Read the story of Jesus calming the storm. Get blankets and cushions in the middle of a room and make yourself a boat. Read the story again, this time with actions and sound effects. Rock gently, rock violently in the storm. Make the wind howl and the waves crash. Shout to Jesus! How would you feel if you were on the boat with Jesus?

Explain that Jesus performed this miracle to show who he truly was. The disciples knew that God created the wind and the waves, so if the wind and waves obey Jesus then He must be God too! Pray the Lord’s prayer together, to see how much you can remember from the other day!
