Day 26

The Lord’s Prayer. Page 323. Matthew 6.

Read the Lord’s prayer together, then practise saying it a few times over. You’ll be amazed how quickly your children can learn it. If you don’t already, perhaps you could use this as a starter to build saying the Lord’s prayer into your daily routine?

Write out each verse on some paper and ask the children if they can piece it back together in order. For younger ones, you could do a picture version of the Lord’s prayer. Or make up some actions to the prayer together to help you remember it.

Stick up the verses around the house and challenge each other throughout the day to recite it.

Write AMEN on a leaf to hang on your prayer tree.
