Ask your children if they know what the Psalms are. Some of the psalms are songs of praise written by David when he was King. Get out any instruments you have, or make a shaker out of a toilet roll and pasta (!). Put on your favourite worship songs and have a praise party.

Try writing and singing your own song of praise to God. If this sounds scary, start with simple lines telling Jesus how great He is. “Jesus you are King! God we want to sing. You are so kind to us, your love shines down from above”.

Any praise from a sincere heart is like sweet music to God’s ears!
