Read Daniel 6:1-10
In his sermon, Ben defined integrity as "what you are in the dark," or when no one is watching. Daniel's enemies couldn't find any fault in him because his character was the same publicly and privately. Where are the "dark" or unseen areas in your life, and what do they reveal about your true character?
When Daniel's enemies tried to trap him, they targeted his faith because it was the foundation of his integrity. What aspects of your life and faith are you most afraid of being tested, and what does that fear reveal about where your trust truly lies?
Daniel’s open windows were a public act of worship and a symbol of his unwavering allegiance to God, regardless of the consequences. What are the "windows" in your life - the places or habits that reveal your priorities to others? Are they open to God and the world, or do you find yourself wanting to close them when facing social or personal pressure?
Prayer
Let's pray for one another to embody integrity as individuals and as a church.
