A changed man. Page 488. Acts 9.

After Pentecost, the members of the early church went about telling people about Jesus and healing people in Jesus’ name. Read about Saul and his encounter with the Holy Spirit. Think about the lifecycle of a butterfly. Just as a caterpillar is changed forever into a butterfly, Saul was changed by his encounter with Jesus and will never be the same again. His new name was Paul.

Make a two sided mask out of paper plates and a lolly stick attached to the chin. Decorate one side with an angry disgruntled face and write SAUL on his forehead. On the other side make a joyful happy face with PAUL written on his forehead. Use the mask to pray that God would open our eyes to see Jesus and be transformed by him!

Draw a caterpillar and a butterfly on a leaf to hang on your prayer tree.
